The best club in Portugal (has more titles than any other Portugal team), has now a topic to speak about everything you want regarding it.

They haven't been all that good this season sadly. Overconfident in the "easier" matches led to draws and a small squad doesn't allow much rotation.

Yesterday we lost against Braga for the final of Taça da Liga and it was a boring, tedious game, don't you think?

Didn't see much of it, but Abdoulaye's sending off didn't help the spectacle. At least it was Braga who won it, they've been deserving a trophy for a few years already.

Guessing that you watch a lot of Portuguese Football? As an outside observer it seems that there is very little depth to it. Outside of Benfica (arguably the greatest Club in Portugal) and Porto there is nothing else on the horizon this season is there? Sporting appear to be having a very mediocre season in the league? I find it hard to see the satisfaction of supporting a club, Porto / Benfica that, through the weakness of it's league opposition, win on a regular basis, where is the sport in that? The same situation as in Scottish football. Though admittedly a lot of leagues do seem to be shaping like that, one or two super clubs and the rest just struggling for the minor places!
Bit like if in boxing you had the world heavyweight champion taking on the lightweights, how would that be sport?
