Is watching football on TV getting too expensive.

Currently if you want to watch all televised Premier League games you have to subscribe to Sky & ESPN, BT Vision next season, which is very expensive. Are you happy to do this or do you just watch the highlights on BBC?

Well as a Millwall fan I don't get to watch us on TV much so my Saturday night consists off a takeaway, a few beers and watching MOTD and The Football League Show. I have wondered though why some of the lower league teams get more exposure on channels in countris like UAE than here in the UK? For example last Saturday I watched a stream of Charlton Vs Millwall which was being shown live on some channel out there, next week they are showing a league two game.

    Just puzzles me.

The big TV deals seem to be for the Premier League only, they really should get more of the lower leagues on TV more often

I guess it is a vicious circle because only the top teams bring in the highest ratings and THAT is what it all boils down to.

It does appear that way, shame really as some lower league games can be very good to watch
