Not so suprising really having had massive points deductions to contend with just because the owners can't keep their house in order. Not very fair on the supporter's, imagine seeing your own club deducted 12 points, would be enough to put almost any average club down.
Gonna be a long time before they can get back up to the Prem, if ever. Look at Leeds, how long they been out of it now thanks to that muppet o'leary and the then chairman mortgaging the club to the hilt.
They were 6th in the Premier League 5-years ago under Harry Redknapp. It's sad to see their demise but I think they will eventually return to the Premier League. They play in one of the great traditional stadiums and now the club is owned by the fans.
I think the one good thing is the fact that the club has finally ended up owned by the fans rather than some other non-entity who makes a few quid for a couple of months and then leaves.. It may take them years but they have a footy tradition down there that should see them start to make their way again. A long way indeed from 2-2 draws against the likes of AC Milan..
