Madness is it not? So now Adkins, just sacked by Southampton, presumably because it was felt that he was not capable of keeping a team in the Prem, now looks almost certain to takeover at Reading. Reading who have just disposed of a perfectly good manager in McDermott. I dont believe, personally, that anyone could keep Reading up now, they just haven't got a strong enough squad for the Premiership.
So that was, God forbid, Di-Cannio heavy odds on fav for the post, then it was gonna be Poyet (why the hell would he want to switch to a team coming down from one potentially going up) and finally? Adkins.
Must be great working in an industry where failure to succeed in one position opens so many new opportunities!
